Trails began as a regular drawing night at Forepaw, Northcote in 2006 as a joint project by Michael Fikaris and Lachlan Conn. Drawing. Writing. Collaborating. Leaving a mark. The works created at the nights were scanned, edited and printed as a small press edition booklet. When Forepaw closed in 2009, TRAILS continued at Seed Factory Studios, Clifton Hill with Fikaris and Tim Molloy. 2010 saw regular meetings at the city studio space Blender studios with Fikaris and Klara for 5 years. Since 2014, Trails has popped up in locations supported by a variety of events, community organisations, galleries and studios around the world. Trails is a meeting with others on the fringes of comics, illustration, writing, collaging and collaborating on a graphic zine.
There has been 26 graphic zines printed in different editions & sizes which will all be added to the Silent Army Archive eventually.
