Silent Army Reading Room is a residency project to share and discuss small press books while archiving thousands of local publications.

  In 2023 we were residents at Testing Grounds as we continued to improve the database and try out our searchable interface with people.

 In 2022 we were residents at Milk Gallery working on the database with a casual two hour opening display with one unarchived box of small press.

In 2021 we were residents at Study Space inputting the first 200 titles into the database establishing a digital process to continue.
Silent Army Projects acknowledge the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing
​connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
