Pure Evil Anthologies

Starting as a chapbook in 1996 by Gregory Mackay, Michael Fikaris and John Weeks, this anthology series went on to be the spine of the braddock coalition - a group of comic artists self publishing each others work. Always refering to the motto's 'every lost cause needs a reason' and the ever faithful 'not mild' the group was as rich as it's collaborators and grew into the early stages of Silent Army.
Although some issues were reprinted in 2007, the idea was to 'go boldly where no australian comic artist had been before'.
One day we hope the 6 issues will be collected into one volume and display the sweat and tears of the multitude of artists involved. For now, the memories remain with hardly any documentation other than the limited editions (some only 100 copies) to be found in home libraries across the earth.
